การประชุม International 3D-IGABT Conference ครั้งที่ 3 จัดขึ้นอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ พิทยา ด่านกุลชัย รองผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลศิริราช และหัวหน้าสาขารังสีรักษา กล่าวเปิดงานและต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยแพทย์ นักฟิสิกส์ทางการแพทย์ นักรังสีทางการแพทย์ และพยาบาล จากหลากหลายสถาบันชั้นนำ ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี และโรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์

ในโอกาสนี้ เราได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Supriya Chopra ผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับโลกด้านมะเร็งนารีเวช จาก Tata Memorial Centre ประเทศอินเดีย มาแบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์ในหัวข้อสำคัญ ได้แก่ “Excellent 3D-IGABT Workflow” และ “Re-irradiation in Gynecological Patients” ซึ่งเป็นหัวข้อที่มีความท้าทายต่อทั้งแพทย์รังสีรักษา นักฟิสิกส์ทางการแพทย์ และนักรังสีทางการแพทย์

ดังนั้น การประชุมครั้งนี้ได้รับความรู้จากวิทยากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ได้แก่ Dr. Tanwiwat Jaikuna จากโรงพยาบาลศิริราช และ Dr. Eliana Maria Vasquez Osorio จาก University of Manchester ทั้งสองท่านได้นำเสนอหัวข้อที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ “Radiobiology Behind Re-RT and Best Re-RT Practice” และ “Image Registration and Cumulative Dose”

นอกจากนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Carien L. Creutzberg จาก Leiden University Medical Center ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ บรรยายในหัวข้อที่สำคัญยิ่ง ได้แก่ “Female Reproductive Care for Post Radiotherapy Treatment”

การประชุมครั้งนี้นับเป็นครั้งที่สำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และพัฒนาศักยภาพในงาน 3D-IGABT เพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดแก่ผู้ป่วยในอนาคต!

The 3rd International 3D-IGABT Conference was held with great distinction and significance. The event was graced by the presence of Associate Professor Pittaya Dankulchai, Deputy Director of Siriraj Hospital and Head of the Division of Radiation Oncology, who officially opened the conference and extended a warm welcome to participants. Attendees comprised a distinguished group of professionals, including physicians, medical physicists, radiation technologists, and nurses, representing esteemed institutions such as Chulabhorn Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, and Prince of Songkla University Hospital.

A highlight of the conference was the keynote address delivered by Professor Supriya Chopra, a globally recognized authority in gynecologic oncology from the Tata Memorial Centre, India. Professor Chopra shared her expertise on pivotal topics, including “Excellent 3D-IGABT Workflow” and “Re-irradiation in Gynecological Patients.” These discussions provided valuable insights into the complexities of re-irradiation, underscoring its challenges for not only radiation oncologists but also medical physicists and radiation technologists.

The conference also featured presentations by distinguished speakers, including Dr. Tanwiwat Jaikuna from Siriraj Hospital and Dr. Eliana Maria Vasquez Osorio from the University of Manchester.
